Biography: My name is Ashley Driscoll. I was born in New Mexico in 1994. My first experiences as an artist were when I was a child and would play with paints or sketch my neighbors’ homes while I sat on the curb outside. I believe that being an artist is something that you have to have a passion for and continuously try new mediums, styles, and forms. I study through practical experience, learning through trial and error, and studying the works of art around me. I recently started going back to school at Aims and enrolled in an Art Appreciation class. It was here that I further expanded my knowledge in collage. At the same time, I had a capstone project at my work, and I decided to do a collage. This is where I made Lady Lazarus.
