Harvesting Dreams at Dusk by Megan Blaser

Biography: As a farmer’s wife, I’ve learned to embrace the long hours, dirty clothes, and natural aromas. As a mom, I’ve learned to share my life and create opportunities for my children to explore the world around them. As a life coach, I encourage others to get curious, creative, and grateful. At
Aims, I strive to help inspire and support students with their goals. I try to practice what I preach, so I personally explore all different forms of artistic expression to tap into my creativity. I believe that creativity improves mental health, problem solving, and critical thinking. I was able to capture this precious moment at dusk, as my husband drove his tractor over to aid in the harvest of our kids’ pumpkin patch. My two children were working diligently to save money for a 3D printer, influenced by a trip to the Aims Community Lab. I vividly recall the vibrant colors, the dropping temperatures, and stirring of dust that evening as I took a few breaths to truly be present in this treasured moment. This one beautiful image captures the essence of my world and the life I have created.
