Biography: I was inspired to take this picture while strolling around Downtown Greeley and taking in the recently upgraded holiday light installation. I stopped to notice that the American Flag was at half-staff, something that’s only seem during times of national mourning. I was astounded by the contrast between the sadness being projected by the flag at half-staff and the children and adults walking around Lincoln Park giggling and partaking in the Holiday Festivities. I saw this as a sign that even though there are dark days, we must remember to continue to push forward and not let these dark days take away our spirit and our joy.
