Dreaming

The crimsons fade as dusk settles away

I dreamt you here with me, overlooking our final moments

The fires set deeply within

I remember those nights when you held me near

Your clouded mind fogging our vision

Lying your fair frustration upon our bed

Now, your fevered touch within my dreams raises my pulse

I’m dreaming of a time when it will be more than dreaming.
