Biography: While I’m earning my admin assist degree, my passion has always been art and design. Color, whether bold or subdued, has been my way of expressing what words couldn’t capture. The piece I submitted for the Aims Review reflects chaos, light, and dark, with shifting foundations, varied shapes, and paths—some free and flowing, others lost or constrained. When I created it, I was trying to make sense of myself, unaware I had BPD then. Looking back, I can see now that my art was my way of trying to understand the struggles I endured. Now, with a diagnosis, comes clarity. The power imbalance has shifted—my struggles have a name, and they no longer limit me because that power is now fully mine.
