Biography: Making art has allowed me to express myself in ways words can’t. I think that’s one of the biggest reasons why I create. All of my artwork is based on my emotions while I’m creating. Even though some of my artwork isn’t from the happiest of times, I enjoy looking back and seeing how much I’ve grown as a person and an artist. My painting Astoria Megler-Bridge is a thank you gift for a family member. I felt as though my words couldn’t express my gratitude and wanted to create something that, in my eyes, is way more meaningful than just a card. Being at aims has helped my growth so much. I’ve never shared my artwork with people like this before and it’s so exciting. As an artist, I just want to keep creating work that makes me happy and hopefully be able to continue sharing my work with others.
