On May 12, 2026, Aims Review launched the 18th volume containing art made by students, faculty, staff, and alumni in a print volume and on the Aims Review Website. To open the readings, Stacey Johnson presented an honorarium to Evan Oakley, retiring Chair of the English Department and founding member of the Aims Review, by reading his poem, “Elegy for a Great Horned Owl.” Featured authors then presented their work through readings of “A Rendezvous with Yesterday’s Past (and Hair Loss)” by Joshua Molina, “To John Shaw Torrington, Glass Coffin & All” by Amelie Banks, “Comfort Food” by Reese Weilnau, “Stillness with Teeth & Internal Haunting” by Tesia Munoz, “The Peeling of a Pomegranate” by Lee Clouston, and “Crystalline” by Jeff Moser.
