The Creative Writing Club owes its continued success to the vision and leadership of its founding advisor, who helped establish a welcoming and enduring community for student writers at Aims Community College. The club continues to build upon that foundation through new generations of student leaders, faculty advisors, and creative voices.
What Our Advisors Do
- Support student leadership while encouraging the club to remain student-driven.
- Provide mentorship in creative writing, publishing, and professional development.
- Coordinate club activities, workshops, readings, conferences, and special events.
- Facilitate partnerships with the Aims Review, the English Honors Society, and other literary organizations.
- Help members connect with opportunities for publication, conferences, scholarships, and continued involvement in the literary arts.
