I had some artistic talent but wanted to improve my painting and drawing skills. I had wanted to
take classes somewhere and I found Aims to be very cost effective and able to learn from very
qualified instructors (MFA’s).
2. What does your art/craft mean to you?
Gives me a form of self-expression and ability to share with others how I see the world. My
favorite class in Jr. High was art, but I was never encouraged to take art classes in high school
and wish now I had.
3. What drew you to your form of artistic expression?
Painting allows me to express my love for color and interpretation of things. I have a degree in
Clothing Textiles and Design, so any piece with textures, depth, and color is interesting to me.
4. Who are you as an artist?
Creating and looking at Art makes me happy and think about the inspiration behind the piece of
work. It keeps my mind busy thinking about all the paintings I want to create.

Claude Monet and Van Gogh
