Blood spilled on hard ground,<\/span>
\n<\/span>A war cry echoes all around.<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u201cBlood for the Blood God,\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>Come the screams.<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u201cBlood for the Blood God,\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>A sacrifice, it seems<\/span><\/p>\n

A man stands among the carnage,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Scars decorating his skin like plumage.<\/span>
\n<\/span>A sword hangs by his side,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Bloodied fingers tightened around its hilt.<\/span>
\n<\/span>A sword hangs by his side,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And the final voice halts with a lilt.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s never enough to satiate them,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Always needing more blood spilled for the condemned.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Finally it\u2019s quiet,<\/span>
\n<\/span>His breath the only noise in the room.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Finally it\u2019s quiet,<\/span>
\n<\/span>But without the voices, it\u2019s more an empty tomb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another man enters the room,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Pausing when he sees the lives consumed.<\/span>
\n<\/span>He stands still for a moment,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Taking in the sight.<\/span>
\n<\/span>He stands still for a moment,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Bright wings reflecting sunlight.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two immortals stare at each other,<\/span>
\n<\/span>One shaking and the other faced with something uninteded to discover.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Still the voices are quiet,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And he\u2019d give anything to hear them now.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Still the voices are quiet,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And the other\u2019d like to help but doesn\u2019t know how.<\/span><\/p>\n

The silence is deafening,<\/span>
\n<\/span>As one tries to understand what\u2019s happening.<\/span>
\n<\/span>He takes a step closer,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And the god\u2019s breath hitches.<\/span>
\n<\/span>He takes a step closer,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And when the sword drops, his body pitches.<\/span><\/p>\n

The winged god runs forward,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Avoiding the bodies of those slaughtered.<\/span>
\n<\/span>He caught the Blood God,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Setting him on the ground.<\/span>
\n<\/span>He caught the Blood God,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Around the god\u2019s shoulders his wings wound.<\/span><\/p>\n

Time –Years– pass,<\/span>
\n<\/span>And their relationship is no longer glass.<\/span>
\n<\/span>The Blood God and Death\u2019s Angel,<\/span>
\n<\/span>Once strangers and now friends.<\/span>
\n<\/span>The Blood God and Death\u2019s Angel,<\/span>
