She\u2019s different now.\u00a0<\/span>\r\nI used to see her in chaos<\/span>\r\nThe bustle of people on the street<\/span>\r\nThe laugh of a child in the theater<\/span>\r\nThe bark of a dog in a winter park<\/span>\r\nThe hum of a car outside my window. <\/span>\r\nNow I find her in silence <\/span>\r\nIn every frostbitten morning<\/span>\r\nIn every sunrise of an autumn morn<\/span>\r\nIn every second of quiet peace<\/span>\r\nIn every blissfully calm moment<\/span>\r\nIn every evening as the mountains hide the sun<\/span>\r\nIn every night as the moon rises into the expansive blackness<\/span>\r\nThere I find her<\/span>\r\nWaiting<\/span>\r\nRadiant in her white, enchanting glow<\/span>\r\nHer eyes fixed on me <\/span>\r\nAs mine on her<\/span>\r\nShe smiles, and I feel a warmth <\/span>\r\nI am light, and she is the calming darkness<\/span>\r\nI am blue, she is streaks of sunset orange <\/span>\r\nI am fading, she is painting me back to existence. <\/span>\r\nBack to Life.<\/span><\/pre>\n
Biography: <\/strong>I’ve always been inspired by the world around me: by the beauty in a simple sunset, the power in a rainstorm, the ethereal wonder in a perfect view. I aim to capture the beauty of the world in the few ways I know how. I’m inspired by the wonderful people around me and their own works of art. The way they weave words together or blend colors on paper is incredible, and it pushes me to do better in every aspect of my life. I’m inspired by the simple power symbolism has, and the dual meanings it often produces, because life is all about duality and grey space. I am often enamored with that grey space, that strange middle ground between all we know and all we don’t, and I hope someday my work can reflect the mutual simplicity and complexity that is the grey space in life.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
