I’m afraid,

Afraid to close my eyes,

Afraid for it to be tomorrow,

Afraid for the next 24 hours to come.

I’m afraid,

Afraid for the rest of my life to come, 

What if it’s not the life I’ve always wanted?

I’m afraid,

I’m afraid for the future.

But, life is what we make it right?

Wrong.

No matter what,

I’m still and always will be afraid.
