Archived: Fate – Suzanna Sampson (Senior)

Fate
No longer waiting in silent desperation
In this world of hate and desolation
The darkness creeps upon those closed eyes
Filling all with its soothing lies

But yet there is a belief that one day we will be free
From all the horrors of the world that we see
The pain caused can never be repaid
Some saw the path but yet still strayed

And now they’re alone, hiding in shame,
Being drowned with no name.
They tried so desperately to change their fate
But in return they gave too little too late
