Different

 

The chatter of students replaced by a silent room.

The school building replaced with ordinary houses.

Raising hands no longer required.

Students away from their peers.

It’s all so different.

 

More free time given, some not knowing how to spend it.

Families having to spend more time together.

Some might consider it a blessing,

While some might find it overwhelming.

It’s all so different.

 

Some retreating to the world of fiction.

Some retreating to the realm of social media.

And some seeking comfort in other areas entirely.

It’s all so different.

 

Things might never be the same completely. 

Some things will always remain different.

But different is not bad in every case.

It’s just… different.
