On May 12, 2026, Aims Review launched the 18th volume containing art made by students, faculty, staff, and alumni in a print volume and on the Aims Review Website. To open the readings, Stacey Johnson presented an honorarium to Evan Oakley, retiring Chair of the English Department and founding member of the Aims Review, by reading his poem, \u201cElegy for a Great Horned Owl.\u201d Featured authors then presented their work through readings of \u201cA Rendezvous with Yesterday’s Past (and Hair Loss)\u201d by Joshua Molina, \u201cTo John Shaw Torrington, Glass Coffin & All\u201d by Amelie Banks, \u201cComfort Food\u201d by Reese Weilnau, \u201cStillness with Teeth & Internal Haunting\u201d by Tesia Munoz, \u201cThe Peeling of a Pomegranate\u201d by Lee Clouston, and \u201cCrystalline\u201d by Jeff Moser.
